Facility is updated but in a very old building. Staff were super friendly and had everything that you needed. Can definitely tell that you’re in an old building though. Theres only so much you can do with it. The location is super convenient. Parking is right across the street.

The window in my room was not soundproof. You can hear everything. When I first walked into the room I thought the window was open but it was closed, but I could still hear everything from outside. Slept horribly for two nights. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located but if you’re looking for a good night sleep, then look elsewhere. Also, their website lists the room amenities as having a mini refrigerator. That’s not true. There’s no refrigerator.

Teeny tiny rooms, which were great for my solo trip but would not recommend for people with kids. Location was great closer to UWS and HK and not right in the thick of Times Square. However, still close enough to everything tourist like. Biggest complaint was the shower that spat water EVERYWHERE! So much so it was clearly causing water damage to the bathroom vanity. Staff were friendly and helpful. Decent and cheap place in the center of it all without being right in the middle of Times Square. Would come back if the price was right again.

The Ameritania staff was outstanding !! Everyone was so helpful kind and courteous. Rooms were comfortable and staff was able to accommodate our family with all the rooms on same floor in close proximity. Stayed there for NYC Marathon and they put out a beautiful spread in the am for the summers and families . Great wine hour too !! Will stay there again .

The property is in a great location for walking. You are close to subway, times square and central park. The rooms are a good size considering NY and they provide you with bottled water. The bathrooms are modern and clean. I found the bed to be too soft, but otherwise the room was fine. The window was on an internal so that wasn't great, but again you are in NY, so that happens.

I liked the staff at the Ameritania; they were pleasant and knowledgeable. Your `Happy Hour' in the lobby made it personal for us. I did not like the street noise in the early mornings, it reminded me of my time uptown at Columbia, where I learned my trade: Physical Therapy. Thank you for your hospitality.

The room was tiny. The furnishings were outdated and not attractive. The clerk who checked us in was not welcoming or friendly. I still have not received an itemized bill from the hotel. There was no food available. The best part of the hotel is the location. Very convenient.

The room was dark and the view was terrible. The extra large mirror was pointless as it took up space instead we needed place to put 4 suitcases as we were a famoly of 4. Hotel's that offer this ie 2 double beds should think what else a family would need. The safe didnt work and the closet was pointless. Its pluspoint t was it was close to time square i would not recommend it to anyone.

Although our room was much smaller than expected, I am still glad we stayed at Ameritania. The location is perfect, the lobby is modern and welcoming, and the staff is exceptional. In particular, Jeff deserves a special mention for making us feel like true VIP's throughout our stay.
