Hotel was built in 1911 a residence, but was turned into a hotel and continually updated to meet modern code. Room was exceptional, with a view of two streets in a corner room. Beds were firm, decor was perfect, and all staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient.

Located on the upper west side of Manhattan. Close to subway station, Central Park and many dining options. Room was small but comfortable and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. It’s pricy but ….. I may stay there next visit.

Nice hotel. The staff was helpful, the rooms very clean. It's an older building, but everything is pretty much up to date. It's conveniently located being just a block from a subway stop and the natural history museum, and a couple of blocks from Central Park. Good selection of restaurants in the area as well.

The noise from the street in out hotel room was unbearable. The hotel staff is nice, there is a nice restaurant adjacent to it and the location was good for the purpuse of our trip. However, the room was in the 2d floor and on the side of the 79th street; the noise at all hours from the ambulances, cars and general NY noise was terrible (we were unable to sleep). Also, the air conditioning turns on and off and you have periods of heat and cold w/o being able to control it.

Great check in process, friendly staff, great location with plenty of options for dining, walkable to Zabar’s and Central Park, right off the highway for easy car access. Room was spacious and clean with very high ceilings. Bathroom was beautiful. Only negative was the shower head wasn’t great and it was too high to reach to try to adjust. Other than that it was great and I would definitely stay again.
