I booked a double room on a Friday, arrived at the hotel and went up to the room to find that the tv was positioned in a way that it was impossible to watch. In the whole room there was only one set of plug sockets which is extremely inconvenient! In the shower there was grime around the seals. There were stains on the duvet covers. Over all I would say that the room I was put in was overall more inconvenient than convenient.

Great position, but a little grotty

Booked an accessible room just because it was cheapest. Very strange bathroom; very splashy shower, drenched half the room; very few places to put anything, no shelf, only one hook, not in a convenient place. Very hard to set air conditioning, didn't sound like it was working properly. Over bed light very odd, probably broken, also dirty. Left luggage service is great, though, as is check in.

Super-basic, barely 3-star hotel

Most basic 3-star (really?) hotel I've ever stayed in. Cramped, dated, stuffy room, saggy mattress, virtually zero amenities, not even a glass/ cup. Hospital-like corridors, carpets & lift. Staff hard to find. Otherwise...location superb, room clean!

No kettle. Reception did not tell me how to switch lights on. So had to go downstairs to ask about that. Then half hr trying to get tv on. Guy from reception tuned it in but still no tv channels. Hardly any channels in the morning. Can i suggest you ask customers to reset tv after using firestix etc. I've better things to do then try to tune in a tv

Basic but clean, annoying aircon.

The room is basic but clean and comfortable. The only complaint i had is that i was unable to sleep due to being unable to turn the aircon off so all night it was turning itself on & off.
