We stayed at Mary Chamber room. The room is very tiny, we could barely walk in it. But main disappointment was that we had a shared bathroom with other rooms. This made us extremely uncomfortable. It would be nice to mention it in the description. There was also no room for laptop. But breakfast was very nice. We have enjoyed it. Also the location was great. We were able to walk to all main attractions and dining which made up for missing bathroom in the room. We stayed on the third floor and luckily we didn’t have heavy suitcases to carry. Because it is a historical building elevators are not present.

Our room was spacious and well-appointed; easy on-site parking behind property which is important in Newport, the breakfast was delicious with attentive service; our host greeted us personally at check-in and inquired about our stay on departure; we will definitely stay at Chart House Inn again for the location, service and attention, easy walking distance to most restaurants and attractions and the courtesy and graciousness of the owner.

We had a wonderful time in Newport and staying at the Chart House Inn. The Ida Lewis room was perfect - nice bathroom, spacious room, comfortable bed. The staff was extremely welcoming and nice. Breakfast in the mornings was a nice, delicious touch. I would recommend Chart House Inn to anyone I know traveling to Newport due to its great location and attentive upkeep

Everyone was very helpful and really great to communicate and work with. The food at breakfast was our favorite part. Amazingly delicious food, the best food we had our entire stay, and we ate at several restaurants in the area.

Very nice place, beautiful historic house right in the heart of Newport, walking distance to tons of shopping/dining/experiences. Nice rooms, friendly and welcoming stuff, delicious breakfast. We glad we picked Chart House, we had a perfect stay. P.S. If you're coming to Newport from Providence, take the ferry, beautiful views and very impressive arriving through the bay area.

Fantastic Newport B&B!
We had an amazing time. This far exceeded expectations for a B&B but it makes sense now that I understand the Stoneacre restaurant group is involved. It was quiet, comfortable, wonderful appointed per Newport historical tradition... amazing location.
