The check-in process was very smooth. The employees were very nice and helpful and above all the room was spectacular very very clean and I felt safe the entire time I was there. I definitely will stay there again when I return to Virginia Beach.

Even though this is an older hotel, it was nice, clean, and well-kept. The housekeeping staff was super nice & friendly. Location was perfect if you have elementary/middle school aged kids due to the close proximity of the playground. Quiet on the end of the beach! I would definitely stay there again!

Our stay was nice but nothing out of the ordinary. The hotel is dated and for the price, i was expecting much more. Onle one elwvatoe worked and it was frequently busy. The water pressure was amazing but there was no ventilation fan in the bathroom. The balcony was very nice buf the cheap plastic chairs were disappointing.

We've stayed here many times in the past, so our expectations were realistic. Simple upgrades were a plus (new lining in hot tub, plank floors, heat and a/c both worked). However, our bathroom sink would not drain and one elevator was out of service the entire time. At one point, the second elevator was being serviced and we had to walk up five floors. We saw the air show from a distance so that was great! Views and location are the reasons to stay. Parking spots are tight. Cigar smoker (maybe an employee) outside made it difficult to sit on the balcony at times. Easy walk to a few stores and restaurants. Small beds but comfortable. Kitchen has dishes, cups, toaster, coffee maker... not a Keurig, and silverware but nothing else (bring paper towels). Check in and out were easy. It's basic, and reasonably priced.

Our room location was perfect - boardwalk and ocean right in front of us. Although, not overly decorated, the rooms offered everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable. Only one small problem - we had some very noisy neighbors who played loud music and "commandeered" our chairs and were sitting right by our front door. We didn't complain - they finally quieted down after I asked them politely to turn the music down. They were a bit intimidating - a group of 5 or 6 young men. We would recommend your facilities to anyone coming to this area.

I have stayed in an ocean front suite 6 of the past 8 years. Every time I stay there someone is smoking on their balcony. Every time. I have reported this and nothing gets done about it. Also this year, the washer and dryer didn't work right.

The Room was clean.Great Ocean view.We could walk to Restaurants & Stores.Quiet..Everyone was friendly. Only thing was Elevator was alittle slow But its an older building.Would definitely stay here again.

To be fair, the property was about what I expected given the lower price for beachfront property. It was barely OK. Not the cleanest, kind of noisy, and needs updating badly; but, a reasonable price for a beachfront hotel.
