The room used for breakfast is actually a meeting room. It is fair too small, with tables and chairs being too close together. There was only one staff member trying to keep things supplied. It was too much for one person, even though I felt they did their best. Poorly stocked 24/7 coffee/tea bar in the lobby area. Hotel is well located, for getting around the Ottawa area. Prices are fairly good, but the place is in need of renovation.

We had a beautifully renovated room, so no complaints there. The staff was very accommodating, nice to be able to converse with them easily. The area was a little rough but not dangerous. The breakfast needed some work, the eggs in particular, but there was pretty good selection.

Excellent blackout blinds. The previous room had excellent beds & air conditioning, which the one now didn't (fine). The shower had good water pressure, once we got the handle on it. The dryer is before the washer, without sufficient signage for battle-fatigued travellers!

We have stayed at Welcominns 3 times over the past month and a half and it has been a real pleasure staying there each time. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, with a great breakfast scheduled over a convenient time. Highly recommend!

Although in general the room was ok - the room we were in needs a decent renovation - You could smell the old smell of the carpet and there were not enough plugs usable in the room - in all the room needs an upgrade.
