Our stay was very nice! The property is well maintained, the rooms are comfortable and the pool area and breakfast were really great. We did wish there was a hot tub. Also, the drinks were quite good. The food at the Del Rey was just ok but the ambience was really cool. I would stay here again.

We’ve stayed at Villa Royale many times over the last five or so years and it remains our favorite place to stay in Palm Springs. The rooms and common areas have been thoughtfully renovated to feel mid-century yet stylish with modern amenities. Most of the rooms feel suite-like with nice kitchenette/bar areas. The three saltwater pools are all heated and always quiet (thanks to the 21 only property). The hotel is very dog friendly and has a large private green lawn that’s used for events but it doubles as an epic dog run space. Top all of that with a quiet, but still central location, great cocktails and one of my favorite restaurants in the city (the Spanish tapas Del Rey). We’ll be back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Royale in Palm Springs, California, and it was an unforgettable experience! This charming boutique hotel exceeded all my expectations with its stunning decor, lush gardens, and serene atmosphere. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every detail of my stay was perfect. The amenities, including the beautiful pool and cozy lounge areas, provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. Great hotel- 2bedroom.

We had a great stay at this hotel! It definitely has those classic Palm Springs vibes. We reserved a two-bedroom unit and were impressed with the excellent customer service and cleanliness of the property. We stayed in Room 10, which is right next to the breakfast area. If you’re looking for a peaceful morning, I wouldn’t recommend Room 10 (or Room 7), as the proximity to the breakfast seating area means you’ll hear very loud conversations starting as early as 6:30am. People do not use their quiet voices, so it can be quite disruptive. That said, the hotel has other two-bedroom units that are farther from the breakfast area and much quieter (we’ve stayed in them before, though I don’t remember the room numbers). Despite this, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay here again—just not in one of the rooms near the breakfast area!

Villa sort of Royale

Upon arriving, me and my partner were in awe with how beautiful the property was. We had an amazing time although there was a fake eye leash extension and a small blood stain on the comforter. Upsetting yes, but we did make the most of our trip and had a great time overall.
