This is my second time staying at east side lodge and it was comfortable and clean. Staff is always so pleasent and the bed is super comfortable. I will be back again the next time I’m in Portland!

The chap on the reception was very kind and swapped our first floor room for a lower floor as we had a lot of luggage. Great area for bars, vintage and record shopping.

A simple and clean motel room! It has been updated semi-recently and, although it isn't fancy, it is a great value for the price. The location is perfect because you are near downtown but it is quiet. The staff was super friendly and easy to deal with.

The room was a little beat up, but the bed was cozy and had mattress protectors. Clean for the most part. There were some dirty spots on the headboard and the shower head was a bit rough. Noisy area, but well lit so we felt safe. Staff was great! Convenient location. Would stay here again.

Stayed at the suites for 6 days in Oct 2024. Our room keys had to be replaced due to accidental deactivation almost every day of the trip, and one manager yelled at a member of our party and nearly refused to replace the card. The iron in my room was broken, the shower flooded the bathroom floor and the towel rack was bashed in as if someone had hit it with a sledgehammer. There is certainly a lack of attention to detail in this space but it was functional for a bare bones cheap-ish trip to PDX.
