My Stay
I arrived the evening of September 24th. It was not until morning that I flushed the toilet and the toilet overflowed, evidently from a previous clog. I shut off the valve to the toilet and put down towels to help with the resultant flooding. I then notified the front desk, telling the woman at the desk of the issue and that it needed to be snaked. I asked if she understood. She said yes. I then assumed that it would be cleaned upon my return that evening. When I returned, NOTHING had been done. No maintenance. No room cleaning. The bed yet unmade and the bathroom with drying towels and drying used toilet paper still on the floor. I went back to the desk and demanded a new room, to which the man at the desk provided. So, I did get another room. The next day, I talked to the same woman that I had notified the previous day and told her of the issue. I was told that she would see about getting a discounted room rate for my troubles. Upon seeing my charge billing, it had not happened. I am very unimpressed with the service. The previous room did not have a refrigerator although the replacement room did. I know that Motel 6 is a budget motel offering, but even for budget minded individuals, much needs to be improved! I find little reason to make any future reservations. for fear of having a repeat experience.

Bed sheets were dirty & sweat stained. Window latch was missing which caused the window to swing open and unable to close. In late October, cold breeze in an unheated room. Highway noise below the window all night. Asked staff to change sheets and fix window, but no service was done. Homeless hanging around the building made the area unsafe. NEVER AGAIN will we stay at Motel 6.

The property overall was ok. My biggest problem was the safety of my family members. The parking lot was not well lit. There were people lingering around all hours of the night. If i wasn't in a hurry i wouldn't have stayed.

The worst motel stay to date
The staff was friendly however, the room and the building do not look like they are being maintained. The door to the room was falling off the hinge and would not shut properly. The bathroom door was punched in on both sides. The bathroom wall was damaged with unfinished patch jobs and towel rack falling off the wall. There were burn marks on the toilet seat, countertops and bathtub. The sheets were threadbare and the mattress were sinking in the middle. The room had not been painted and had a brown tint on the ceiling and walls. I have stayed here over the years and this will be my last stay. Whoever owns this is not taking care of the property.

The sink in the accessible bathroom was literally falling away from the wall and had no counter of any kind to sit your hygiene things on. The floor of both the bathroom and the rest of the room was poorly swept and I do not believe had been mopped at all. Good plug ins and lights. No automatic door at the front of the hotel made it difficult to use my walker. Good access to the freeway.

It was a total dump and I did not stay there. When I got the room, the hot water was running over flowed and the smell was terrible. Not would I never stay at Motel 6 ever again, I Don't think I will use Expedia again, either. You had to know this place was a S--- HOLE.

We had to leave and go to another motel because of the smell. My asthma was acting up just by walk in the motel hallway and room. They said I would get a refund from Expedia, but haven’t seen it yet.

Almost everything in the room was broken. The lights flickered, the outlet covers were all jagged pieces of plastic and the mini fridge interior was cracked and missing the shelves. The walls are paper thin and you could hear EVERYTHING happening in all the surrounding rooms. The traffic noise is also so loud that it was incredibly difficult to get to sleep. The Lehi location only has one baggage cart and the desk clerk did nothing to keep track of it or help track it down. I had both arms full with bags and a toddler and not a single staff member that saw us even attempted to help open the doors they could clearly see me struggling trying to open and walk through. They also charge a $30 fee for early check in. I get it if it's a few hours early, but 30 minutes early is ridiculous. The property itself was clean for the most part, but I saw a few homeless people sleeping on the grass in front of the entrance. The experience was so poor that I cut my reservation short and left after 1 night. I will never use this location again.
