Not at all close to the description this is a hostel not a hotel had to wait to get in then a room with windows but no glass in them so anyone could climb in then a room that was ok but was a huge hassle not as advertised
No receptionist. Door was locked. Some woman let us in, didn’t know we had a reservation, couldn’t rebook 2 rms for us, treated us like we were an inconvenience.
Never again!
This hotel needs to be removed from Hotels.com and I am entitled to a full refund. I reserved a family room with three beds, private bath, with air conditioning. The woman at the front desk insisted that I stay in a small dank room with one double bed, no private bath and no air conditioning. She showed me to a shower and toilet at the opposite end of the floor that stands outside of three other rooms. The sink is out in the open. She insisted that I would be the only one using it so it is no problem. (!) She said that there are no private bathrooms in this hotel and no air conditioning. This is blatant fraudulent advertising.
This hotel never had our reservations scheduled. We purchased an all inclusive trip tp puerta vallerta including this hotel . Up on our arrival we get to the hotel by taxi and find out they dont have us down for our reservations! We talked to a gentleman there and he had to call the owner and ask for our reservation, she said dhe did not have us down for one! We had to get anorher taxi and go get another hotel that we had to pay out of our pocket in order for us to stay. We will never book there again! We would like our money back and including the money we had to pay for the other hotel! I have all receipt and my conformation for our reservations.
Most places were sold out, so we had to book this place. First time there $39.00/night for a super small room. No windows, no electic outlets, no towels. We had to share the toilet and shower in the hall. The next day we were upgraded to a larger room. Two beds and our own bathroom. Finally got 1 bath towel & 2 hand towls on the 3rd day. The walls were thin and went up to the ceiling lights so you could hear your neighbors and see when they turned on lights. Oh, we had to pay $10/Xtra/day for upgrade. No, elevator, pool, or drinking water. There are other places to stay for the same price or less that offer more. The 3 people that worked there were very nice. Ceiling fans only so room was very stuffy.
I can't believe I got hoodwinked by the pictures. We book a 5 day stay down the street. So for the weekend, as PVR was fully booked, I booked here. I could go on with a list the 27 things that went wrong, but I'll only give you a few. I went with a friend.
Checking in she could not find us as she put my first name down as mister & my last name as my first name.
We had only one pillow to share. We had to pay extra for a sheet.
We had to pay extra for a towel each as they gave us hand towels as bath towels.
(The hand towel we did get had a big hole in it.)
There was a kitten crying all the time for food?
The room was the size of a tomb with a fan at the top & we could hear everything from the other to rooms. (Everything!!) There was one plug in the room.
The wifi only worked if you were near the stairs in the hallway. Not in every room like the ad said.
The door to our room was not secure. The bathroom/toilet room was disgusting.
The second night the toilets didn't work. As its common in some please in Mexico, you don't flush the paper down. This I understand. She might not have told any one this and someone did. When we brought this to her attention, she said that the plumber we come tomorrow? She did not get that we might need the bathroom in the night? You might be wondering why we stayed?(I was thinking that too.)
As soon as we saw the place in person & dealt with her, we went online to find a new place. We couldn't find a place in the price range or higher.
Confusion regarding the booking. Berated for not speaking Spanish. Yelled at in Spanish by the hostess. No plug in in the room to charge the phone. Only one pillow on the bed for two people. The bathroom door knob fell off and locked us in. This was a shared bathroom so we were up several times n the night lettting other patrons out of the bathroom. We awoke early New Year's Day to the hostess yelling at someone. We had booked for three nights but left after one night.
