Althought i grew up in Rhinelander and have always known Comfort Inn to be a great hotel this was my first stay. I had called a month earlier when booking to vonfirm a joined room set for my 2 rooms i booked and upon arrival was told they didnt have any. then could t get a refund to go elsewhere. Second night there we found a cockroach on the wall behind the desk, squished it and told the front desk. found another with the front desk staff and they asked if we want another room but wouldnt be able to keep our group of 2 adults and 4 kids together as they couod only move one of the groups. we asked them to cancel the room with the cockroach and bring us a folding bed and they declined. they told us they were not able to do anythibg at all. Not happy with this hotel at all, will not be nack again.

Lindsey was outstanding at the desk checkin and also helped me get organized to use guest laundry room, which was very clean. The washer and dryer was more than big enough to accommodate a large load and worked well. Cost was reasonable in my view.

Room was nice, staff accommodated requests. Only complaint was the desk wasn't wiped down. Couple see finger smudges and spot where a drink was sitting from previous guest. Shower also had a hair in it, but it was still cleaner than my shower at home! Other than that, the lemon water in the lobby was awesome and the breakfast is top notch. Definitely will stay here again for business trips.
