This is a like-new and unexpectedly ornate hotel, actually, most unexpectedly! It located a bit out of the way but is very nice and worth the short drive from town. The rooms are spacious and very attractive, just like the rest of the hotel. There was no elevator so we carried our luggage up the stairs to the second floor. I'm a little surprised that we were not given a first floor room because the hotel had only a handful of guests on a Wednesday night.
Our king-size bed did not have a mattress pad, the bottom sheet went directly on the mattress. Not too good of an idea if they want to keep the mattress in good condition. There were sufficient blankets for a near freezing night and the under-window heater made the room very comfortable even on the lowest setting. The room was very quiet, we heard not one outside sound! The window did not have light blocking curtains.
Unfortunately, the shower had not been cleaned. My wife found hair in it and an open shampoo bottle.
The WiFi worked flawlessly as did the TV.
The rocker switch that turned on the vanity light was missing the outer rocker push plate. The vanity light was bright and nice with a curved fixture. The shower (no tub) did have its own light but it was not working (bulb?) but it shared the light with the toilet stool. It did have a bathroom fan on a separate switch to vent humidity.
All the outlets appeared to be 220v capable, at least compatible with 220v two prong round plug
