The biggest issue was that our keys didn’t keep their coding for more than a half an hour. If we used them right away they worked but otherwise - especially the next morning - not. This required the person whose name was on the reservation to repeatedly recharge cards for 4 people in two rooms, night & day.

The best thing about this property is the staff. They hired a lot of people who are friendly, attentive, and respectful. The room had everything I needed, nothing fancy. If you’re coming to San Diego and want a central location but won’t hang outin your room, this is the place.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay over the weekend! Bed was comfy with thick pillows and blankets, area was close to where I wanted to visit, and I had no trouble parking on-site. Breakfast was a nice inclusion with a few options. I did run into a few minor inconveniences where the bathroom (shower/toilet) was very small and the door swinging inwards made it more cramped; on my last night, I did find 1 roach in my room, (possibly because of the area or due to trash cans on all levels).

Def not a 5-star but we might stay here again...
The beds super comfortable. Hair conditioner in shower was actually shampoo, so no conditioner. Everything else was kinda old. Breakfast was really mediocre. Price was okay. Parking was convenient on property.

Rooms where clean except for the corner of the bathroom floor (needs good scrub and caulking). It was quiet. Breakfast was disappointing as they rotate what is served and in our days there was no scrambled eggs but omelets with peppers which hubby could not have. Parking was plentiful. Ok location in a business area by car dealers. Amenities nearby. Good location for quick access to attractions.

The hotel looked questionable, but it was clean enough and quiet. It is in a really convenient part of SD and the price was right, so I'd definitely stay again. We didn't eat breakfast there, so idk what that's like. The ice machine looked cursed (moldy).

The hotel is surrounded by an auto dealership that apparently tests the security devices on its trucks every morning. And drivers must do a U-turn to access the property coming from the south or to go north when leaving.

Great Stay
Hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. We had one issue while checking in but the front desk handled it in short order. Hotel was surprisingly quiet in the morning as well. We did not spend a lot of time at the hotel as we were off at the beach all day but would stay again.

We arrived at probably 10pm. Everything was fine except the area walking to our room outside reeked of marijuana, which I didn’t appreciate having our small kids with us. I am unsure if it was a staff member or just another guest/passerby. Otherwise everything was to be expected for what we paid. Not super “nice” room but everything was clean, and the breakfast was decent.
