Do not expect anything from this hotel. The room was horrible. We stayed in a room on 16th fl in wave wing. The room was really dirty. Water did not drain in a shower, garbage was left in an ice pail, side table top was moving like a seesaw, too many ants everywhere. Only good thing was the view. Ice machine was broken, vending machine had no drinks. Beach was small and dirty. Pool is old and not well maintained. Staff ignored all garbage on the beach and pool. Waited 90min just for a burger. Had to line up for 20min to just buy drinks. Everything about this hotel was a joke. Gave up to buy coffee at starbucks and eat at buffet because they are extremely slow and too much waiting. The only good thing was Uber eats deliver food here. We had stayed in San Juan more than 5 times but never had experienced such. We will never come back.

The room for all that money is out dated. The water in the shower stayed cold and the room stayed moist and musky and had a smell to it. The pool area and everything else was nice

We had a great time we stayed for 2 weeks. The staff was amazing. The restaurant Ocean needs to be revamped the menu is less than a half a page, and Lola wasn't that good.The breakfast buffet is very expensive $ 35.00 and got a little old. I wish Nectar was open all day. I hate having to get up at 7:00 in the morning to claim seats near the beach and at the pool. There should be a better system considering the resort fee. There are a few areas that could be updated on the property (pool, beach furniture). The pool was dirty on many days and the hot was not hot in the morning.

This was a great place to stay! The staff was excellent and the property was very large and beautiful. Only minor complaints are that we had no hot water our whole stay, the pool was chilly (even at night), and that the food and drinks are pricey-but we had an idea that it would be considering it is a resort. Puerto Rico is AMAZING! Definitely plan to come back and wouldn’t mind staying here again! :)

I rarely do reviews for anything but the Hilton Caribe merits a few words. To start, the good. The ocean view is beautiful. There are iguanas sunning in the rocks and the beach, although small, is decent. This property is old. So many things need an upgrade. There is rust in the balconies and the carpets are filthy. The prices are outrageous. You will be paying 25 dollars for a cocktail with barely any alcohol. 110 bucks for 2 piña coladas and a quesadilla. The rooms have ants, EVERY WHERE. You can see them crawling in all surfaces. Also, there is no hot water. None. Freezing call water to shower at all times. On top of that , the bathroom door “floats” over and does not close. No privacy to use the freezing cold shower. The breakfast which is included with the stay, is only for 2 people, and is mediocre at best. Cold eggs, and cantaloupe for fruit. And get ready to stand in line for at least 45 minutes for a table. This property charges luxury resort prices and gives subpar services and accommodations. Honestly, I worked so hard for my money and this felt exploitative. Do not do it.

Great Stay
Our stay at the Caribe Hilton hotel was great. The staff and rooms were very nice. Lots of options within the hotel to have a great time.

Beautiful and convenient! 10-15 mins from the airport and a 35 mins walk or 10 min scooter ride to old San Juan. Only con was the room. If you’re in a connecting room, the connecting door has a huge gap at the bottom and you can hear your neighboring guest.
