Some construction was going on directly over our initial room but the front desk clerk he was more than willing to change our room. First time visiting the country, but we felt safe and welcomed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location, however a golf cart is definitely needed for mobility. We would definitely stay at this location again.

When family members come to see us . Too much rules talking about visiting hours was over at 9.30 . As if they were running a hospital. Assuming people staying with us and no indication to such. Some security are rude and not approachable. Communication is very important with guest .

Belize is beautiful and Ambergris Caye is stunning. This property was gorgeous! But what made it even more special was the people. Every single person went out of their way to be kind and helpful during our entire stay, learning our names and making us feel truly seen and cared for. There is plenty of staff and everyone is empowered to help you with whatever you need. You will absolutely be safe, pampered, comfortable, and relaxed if you choose to stay here. The view was stunning and the price was very reasonable. The location was excellent and it was super convenient to be able to rent a golf cart right on the property. They have a US-based 800 number if you need anything ahead of time, and a local number if you need help while you're on Ambergris Caye.

Solid place right on the beach. The restaurant wasn’t open yet, but the resorts beside all had great food that you could walk in for - great staff that helped line up rides, laundry & whatever else needed!

We wouldve liked a do not disturb sign for housekeeping and the pools were pretty cold. Overall it was a great place to stay and most everyone was nice.

This was our first trip to San Pedro Belize. Bananas on the Beach was super clean and comfortable. They offered cart rental there at the resort. It was my husband’s birthday and they even decorated the room. The beachfront room was perfect for our stay in San Pedro. All of the employees were very accommodating and gave great recommendations. The hotel was close to great food and markets with beach access and amazing views. I highly recommend Bananas on the beach!

Very clean , nice , and modern ! We had Golf Cart so we drove to restaurants for food and walked along beach to Alaia Bar to grab pizza pie . Hotel was very nice ! But area I believe is new and still being built up so not as many accessible food spots in walking distance , Golf Cart recommended. Manager was very sweet and a lot of help and went out her way to ensure we enjoyed our Anniversary!! Believe her name was Melanie !! Wanted shower hotter and she sent maintenance in minutes and they turned heater up in seconds . Beautiful and affordable resort ! Two pools and great place to stay with the family that’s clean and safe

My husband and I had a great experience while staying at bananas on the beach. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The property appears to be new very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The pools were great as well. It was not crowded or too busy. There was a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely return to this property. Tiffany and Alexis were great courteous and customer oriented. Security was warm and inviting and caring as well.

This is a great place to stay if you are not into the pool lounging scene. They have two nice pools but they are located in the middle of the hotel. We didn’t mind at all they are kept very clean. The property is newly renovated and has a nice modern look and feel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bed was excellent! They have nice WiFi flat screens so you can watch whatever you watch at home if that is your thing. There is not a beach but they have a sea wall with a nice beach landing out front and there is a pier you can swim off if you want. There is a nice little bar in the courtyard that has good happy hour deals. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They golf cart parking is nice right in the back of the hotel and is paved and has security so you don’t have to worry. I have traveled all over the Caribbean and I will say this is one of the nicest places I have stayed! They are priced perfectly!

Stayed here for 2 nights this past week. Literally booked our trip the week of our arrival. Hotel itself is very easily to find. Lots of gocart parking right outside. Front desk staff as well as the security outside were always friendly. It rained a bit during our stay so we woke up on the first morning to a leaking ceiling. We were promptly moved to another room when we notified the staff (although room itself was a slight downgrade from the first one..ocean view was a tad further and bathroom was much smaller). The first room also had lukewarm shower water which I think might be a fluke given that they had recently renovated the hotel. Overall, the hotel was comfortable and served our needs. Pricing was very reasonable. There are two pools and a bar on the premises for people to use as well.

This property is beautiful pretty new smelled amazingly clean could use a bar at the pool, some cushions on the pool loungers and a restaurant. The place was clean and the beds are incredible. Alexis at the front desk is awesome, will help you with anything, security guards were always on property. Also need more decor in outdoor pool and beach areas as well as additional seating areas. Would definitely recommend
