The Ocean Pacific Lodge was clean, professional, and had friendly front desk staff. The neighborhood is touristy and gets a bit shady at night, but that’s true of anywhere near the boardwalk. I felt safe and comfortable on the property and parking was easy. It had everything I was looking for in a place to stay. I had a good experience and would recommend this place to others.

Dirty and noisy
We chose this hotel for the closeness to the boardwalk and free parking. Parking is a pain. Tight spaces make it quite difficult to get in and out of. The clerk at the front desk was friendly and helpful. They provide you with ear plugs a sleepy time tea.. that’s because the hotel has lots of loud noises, idk what it was exactly but constant banging and rubbing against walls. No hot water? If you get up early be prepared to wait an hour for hot water. I had to run the shower multiple times over a period of an hour to get hot water to shower. Then at night there was hardly any water pressure. Mold in the shower and gross brown marks on bathroom wall. No shampoo or conditioner, so make sure to pack your own. Pool was ok, they did have an ample amount of towels. The spa was smelly and had black stuff floating in it. Next time I’ll go with the more expensive hotel for cleanliness alone.

Five minutes from the border walk
Cute little hotel by Santa Cruz Boardwalk, where we wanted to be just for one night pool and Jacuzzi were nice parking was right outside our front door. The only downfall was the bed and pillows were so hard and uncomfortable. Cute little place for a quick stay to visit the boardwalk

There was a terrible smell in the unit and it was not clean at all. Only reason I selected this property was the proximity to the boardwalk. Expected better, Expedia!

I love that the hotel is clean, taken care of, and there were no signs of wear or anything degraded. Everything feels maintained appropriately, and the staffs are so nice. Only thing I can even think of something that would be cons are that the pool time closes too early. But overall, really affordable and amazing for its price!
