While the concept of this property is unique and helpful for a single person who needs a toilet a bed and a shower, it was cramped for a married couple who was recovering from surgery. We left after the first night, we were booked for two nights, there wasn't a chair for my husband to sit in to be upright after his surgery, so we just left. If it were one person, I think it would be better suited, we spent $30 in parking and had a difficult time finding parking the first night. The garage that was suggested in the welcome information, was closed and only allows over night parking until 7 am. It was clean and we received a welcome note from the host.

The property was wonderful! Clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. I felt very safe when inside. Shower, TV, lighting, style, coffee/tea station, mini fridge (did not keep ice cream frozen)- all very nice. Mobile key worked great. Outside of the property, I honestly didn't feel totally safe as a solo traveler due to many dark spaces, lone people sitting/standing/sleeping in the street, and lots of trash on Boylston Ave. But, there are many wonderful businesses around and the main streets on either side, Pine and Pike, are well lit and there was a lot of foot traffic Thurs-Sat.

Love the location in Capitol Hill! Line 1 to the airport a short walk away with street cars and buses half a block walk. Great restaurants, bars, and things to do all within walking distance. Rooms are small and spartan. Still nice and designed well. They do provide a mini-fidge, coffee machine, and teas. Just FYI: This hotel is largely unstaffed. There are small amenity cabinets on every floor, but do not expect a fully staffed hotel. There are also no elevators for public use aside from a service elevator if you absolutely need it. Bring a water bottle because there are filtered water machines on every floor. I would recommend bringing an eye mask due to the ambiant light in the room coming from electronic LEDs. They do provide earplugs and a white noise machine for those not used to city noise.

I loved the minimalist decor and how you had everything you needed. I stayed at three different Sonder locations in 4 days. I loved my experience so much. I did notice that each place you could hear noises from neighbors especially in the halls. Ear plugs were provided complimentary. Convenient entry. I recommend downloading the app to have the best experience. Will be back for sure.

I was surprised, this is like the Uber of hotels rooms. The building seems newly renovated and I was sad there was no laundry but everything else was great. Only thing I would say is don't get a ground floor room, the noise of guests in and out the main door is very loud in the rooms nearest the main door.

I will never stay here again. I didn’t realize when I booked it that it was operated completely on a self service model and the rooms were sub-basic (e.g., there is no chair, no desk, and the shower is in the room (no bathroom walls). There is no one to check you in. Everything is through the app. One night during the stay their app was down and I couldn’t let myself in to the hotel (which is always locked), or to me room (both are unlocked by the app). There is a separate security code you can use to let yourself in but you need the app to look it up. I called the support number and it took 10 minutes before I could get into my room. There is also no elevator in the building.

I love how clean the rooms are and how close it is to cafes and restaurants. Kinda hard to get in if your ID wont upload to check in. But once we got a hold of customer service they were pretty quick on helping us check in manually.
