Our expience with front desk when arrive to check in was terrible, Jacky Simeon was bad attitude with us, not friendly person. The everything personal was great,the pool bar excelent, the bar excelent, the food good, security good.

This is a cool property. Sits in middle of town. We would look off our balcony each morning to see which cruise ships were there. The facility is nice. The room has good amenities. Very roomy. Had small cooktop, microwave, small fridge, safe, couch and was comfortable to move around in. The bed was NOT comfy however. Very hard mattress. Very small pillows. It takes two of their pillows to make a normal size pillow. A slightly less firm mattress and normal size pillows would be great upgrade. Our air conditioning and shower temps were awesome! My only real reason for not giving this place 5 stars is due to the staff. They do not care, in any way shape of form about their guests. It is like you are an inconvenience. If you want clean towels, you must put them in a laundry bag, hang it on the door and let them know. You generally don't get replacements u til the next day. We needed fresh pool towels. I asked at the front desk and the older lady who works up there was so hateful. Told me I couldn't get them there and had to put them in bag. I explained we were headed out and needed them sooner. Again, they do not care. The lady who works the little store there was super sweet. There was a man who worked the desk sometimes who was decent to deal with. The place itself has about all you need and is nice. The bar area and pool is good too. Wasn't crazy about the food at the bar/restaurant. Very overpriced and just ehhh. Even with all that, we'd stay again.

I disliked the floors: the noise from the room above me tranferred very, very loudly interrupting my sleep. Something should be done to reduce the noise: carpet or padding for chairs and table. And the there is the maintenance crew; no one should enter an occupied room without notice to occupant.

The hotel in St Thomas was amazing, beautiful and very clean. The room was very large, love that there were utensils, glasses, dishes a full-size fridge and microwave. The patio is so spacious and cozy, spent a lot of mornings out there. There are two small grocery stores nearby that are great for drinks, ice and other necessities making it very convenient. We rented a vehicle and took the ferry from Red Hook to St John. Be aware of the Ferry schedule so you dont get stranded in St John, Hotels are very steep if renting because you missed the ferry. Trunk Beach is a must to visit, so beautiful. Overall, I give this hotel 5 stars! Wear walking shoes you will need them, lots of steep roads, and stairwells everywhere you go.
