Sorry not happy to give this a rating. Rooms not up to spec. Original room not very clean. ‘Renovated room’ almost complete. Wardrobe mirror door missing. One lift not working all week Second lift also broke down. Staircase a struggle for anyone with health or mobility issues. Try climbing 7-10 flights with a stuffed knee / heart condition. And you have to go through reception office then garage then outside to access the staircase. Apology ‘gesture of goodwill’ incomplete against what was promised. Full refusal of any discount. Feel for the staff. Only plus is it’s easy access to the city and Darling Harbour

Good location, great price, nice staff.
The hotel is in a great location. It is within walking distance to QVB and Town Hall. The Circular Quay and Paddy's Market can be easily reached by Uber or train. The building is rather old but I think was recently renovated. There is one working elevator servicing 20 floors so you have to alot extra minutes when you leave or go back to your room. The hotel has a pool and a gym. The full kitchen would really be helpful if you're staying for a few days. The bathroom had a stale water smell but was clean. There was a window with a broken handle, leaving 2 holes, and when there is a strong wind, it creates a strong almost "howling" wind sound. I stuck a towel in the holes and it stopped the sound. The staff were nice. The price can't be beat. I would definitely consider staying in Yehs Hotel the nextbtime I'm in Sydney.

The bed was rock hard the pillows small. the fancy electronic toilet with its blue light was silly, who needs it to pop open whenever you enter the bathroom one of the lifts was out of use, the lights went out in the hallways the first morning other than that it was OK

The communication was wonderful and very quick, location is fantastic. It is noisy but that is what I would expect staying in this part of town. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They are obviously updating their decor and rooms bit by bit as some things look much more dated than others. Coffee machine in the foyer was a nice touch. It was great to be able to park onsite for a reasonable price. It is a very tight parking lot as they advise when you book it.

Great location, not so much for a light-sleeper
This is my second time staying in this hotel, and they were kind enough to upgrade my stay this time. Hotel location is great and very walkable to anywhere in the city. I was pleasantly surprised with the bidet, and bed and pillows were excellent. One thing though - if you are a light-sleeper, this may not be your first choice as i could hear every single knock and clank across the floor. Sometimes, even conversations. This is probably the one big down-side for me. If this doesnt bother you, i would then highly recommend!

Bed very hard and uncomfortable like sleeping on the floor. They did put overlay on it was a bit better Kettle did not work was replaced by a dirty working one . Room was not that clean the decor was old and daggy . The bathroom was quite good but very small .

We stayed in the three bedroom suite with two teenagers. There was a great view from the living room of the city on the 18th floor. There was a full kitchen, living room, large dining table for six, washer/dryer,... pretty much all the amenities. The staff was super helpful. We arrived at 10 am and were allowed to use the storage room to put away luggage and we were allowed to go up to spa and pool area to shower and change. Check-in was not until 3 pm so all of this was much appreciated. There is a great Peruvian restaurant one block from the hotel that we walked to at night. All in all, it was a terrific choice for our one night in Sydney Harbor area. We could walk to the ferry and aquarium.
