Hotel was trash had bedbugs and riaches never gave fresh linen everyday. The ppl whi work during the day are extremely stuck up snd rude. They pic who stays for what price as where ppl were paying 450 a week but ithers only pay 500 a month they dobt answer questions when asked and very 7n general crap glhotwl i could go on but im good here would not receive rude
Got our room, everything was covered in dirt and animal hair and was told there was no other rooms and they refused to clean it. Stripped the linens to find a pee soaked mattess
There was a couple good days but then there was a problem and when ibasked to refund my money was denied and we never complain about the roaches the no towels the no cleaning of our room but thats ok i try to maks thongs lean overall i feel there os particularly certian staff that should be held accountable and i dont think ots fair people can stay different amounts of time never the same
Red Roof Inn should be embarrassed at this location.1) holes/ cigarette burns in comforter 2) Hair on the sheets 3) one towel and tattered 4) Flies and cockroaches 5) Dirty and damaged walls 6) Numerous people on the outside landing smoking 7) Looks like people live here 8) Room smelt like antiseptic 9) spinkler broken 10) Front desk lady at 7pm was only acceptable thing.
2 day stay king room. No room service, 2 old flat hard pillows, no washcloths, 1 towel that was left the size of a hand towel, no service for the entire 2 day stay. Bathtub dirty with hair in tub. Asked for towels, washcloths and pillow and staff did not give us any. The guy at the service desk was sound asleep. Had to go purchase towels, washcloths and pillows. I would not recommend for this price

Checking in at 10:30 pm Sunday night, there were sketchy looking men in and out of the lobby, but ending their "business" or leaving when we walked in. The clerk greeted us with "What?" No 1st floor rooms available, but there's an elevator (smells of urine and pot). Open our 3rd floor door but theres a couple inside and a chain across the door. They emerge a couple minutes later and tell us they'll go speak to "her," absolutely no luggage or anything in hand. My husband went back to get another room, they never appeared. Clerk had no explanation but didn't seem surprised. Our next room smelled like cat pee, no bath towels, and the shower sprayed all over the bathroom ceiling, walls, toilet, everything.
We checked out early (couldn't stand 5 nights of that) and Expedia says because they couldn't contact the manager within 72 hours, they cannot refund our payment for the nights we didn't stay.
The whole property smelled dirty and enough people smoke (pot and otherwise) outside the non smoking rooms that it comes right into the room. It appears people living in their car park at the hotel. What a shame.
Your staff tries, but need to step it up, no PJ's at work. Remote wasn't working (they replaced) BUGS in the room, leaky sink, floor felt dirty. Surrounding area not great, hotel needs work, its run down, look up, clean the mold. Again, bugs, not bed bugs, other bugs, might have even saw a mouse, it wasn't good.
The over night person working said Experian messed up and reserved 1 day only when Experian confirmed it was 3 days on their end.
Even though EXPEDIA made the mistake, EXPEDIA would not fix it and relied solely on the hotel refund it.
We were given a room by the night staff (incredibly rudely) then her shift ended and she left. The morning manager was there when we advised that we opened the room and it was used and not cleaned. She then refunded us the first day as well, and gave us another room (that had a roach on the ceiling). But at least she was nice and worked with us. The daytime manager was awesome. The night staff was being rude and EXPEDIA has not helped one bit with this.
And EXPEDIA keeps not approving my review becauae they know they made a mistake and wouldnt fix it
Unfortunately the overall condition of the Red Roof Inn in Syracuse was disappointing. There was a large area of Candle Wax dripped on the Floor, missing a Coat Hanger from one of the brackets, missing the Spindle for the Toilet Paper Roll and most alarming was seeing Cockroaches running across the floor.
First, front desk agent was unprofessional, a friend or someone she knew was standing near desk, and they just continued their personal conversation while I was as trying to check in. Her phone received and a text, and instead of waiting til I was done checking in and not in area, she just picked it up to read, once again, while I’m there to check in.
As a past AGM for a hotel, these unprofessional behaviors and having someone hanging out in the lobby, chatting is against policy. And when a guest is in the lobby checking or out, all attention should be aimed at the guest (not personal texts or calls). It’s rude, and make the guest feel unimportant.
As a leader, you need to improve your standards. And the room had multiple fruit flies all around. There was hair in sink also. But hey, it’s a red roof inn.
