Decent hotel for the price
The hotel was pretty clean with bare necessities - though I expected that for price range. It did have a good breakfast. Staff was friendly. Small pool - jacuzzi was broken. Dehumidifier outside our room - room felt "wet" due to humidity but it is Florida. Location was okay - didn't feel unsafe but wouldn't want to go out to my car alone. It is located on main roads with stores and restaurants close by. My biggest complaint is that we didn't have hot water - not freezing cold but maybe at best lukewarm. Not great for showering. Overall a decent hotel for the price.

Staff were friendly, professional and courteous at all times. Breakfast was good. Cleanliness needs improvement with rugs and floors in communal areas needing a good cleaning. Dirt buildup was immediately obvious, especially in the elevator area. Room and bathroom were clean. Room was comfortable. Plumbing in bath needs attention or will have problems soon. The spigot from the wall to the tub is quite loose and can be pulled forward and up and down from the wall. The pull tab for the shower was rusted and hard to pull up to transfer water to the shower. This is what made the loose spigot noticible and item which will cause further damage as it is tugged on and hit down to turn off shower spray. Very low water pressure. When on the water was a trickle straight down from the shower head which is fixed to the wall leaving a space of about 5 inches to try and place your body under the water to get wet and rinse. Room was 418.

I love to stay at the property.It was awesome. I stayed early overnight at the property.Because I was going on a cruise the following day. What's so great about them? Was I left my passport at home? And they were so accommodating with holding it for me. I had to have it overnight to me and they held on to it for me and I thought that was awesome and they knew when I walked in the door who I was and what I was there for and they had my document ready for me. I appreciate the staff. I will recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay again whenever I'm down in Tampa.I will live at La Quinta.Thank you

Comfy Room - Clean - HOT TUB HAS 1 WORKING JET
Room was Clean, Big, and Comfy -- but as with MANY hotels in FL -- THE HOT TUB DOESN'T WORK! Even though the front desk gentleman said it does, and offered to show me -- Only ONE JET actually works (and barely). It's essentially a Glorified Bathtub. No other complaints though. Breakfast was decent too.

I requested early check in before I made my reservation because I'm a Wyndham platinum member and was told yes I could. Shortly after making my reservation they sent me an email telling me I had to wait until regular check-in time. Only after getting there I found about the $100 security deposit which wasn't included in the email. On Sunday morning the breakfast was over at 9:50. I asked the front desk where's the breakfast and He said he doesn't know so if he doesn't know then I didn't either. All I knew was I was hungry! Had to go eat out. To my shock and surprise, I saw a young lady being checked in on a Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. The likelihood of them having a room available on a Sunday morning versus having one available on a Friday morning is not likely at all. That was discrimination at the fullest. I Will never choose that hotel again ever ever. Waste of money!!

At the time they were doing some maintenance work on the property with the water system so no hot water and our room had a strong sent of paint and they tried to make it comfortable as possible by bringing a air purifier but was very noisy
