Stayed here one night before transiting to Magnetic Island. Wow! What an amazing hotel - in every respect. The staff offered amazing hospitality and the property is beautifully designed an immaculately kept. Can highly recommend.

Location on waterfront is good. Good views. Check in requires a bond of $100 for every night you stay. Rooftop bar was far too busy and crowded. 25 minutes wait to get a glass of wine. Parking is not monitored or charged so anyone can use it - including people just going for drinks. No breakfast on site besides exorbitantly expensive room service. Food choices poor. Pool closes very early. All gym / facilities are not on site, theyre at the casino next door. Room was mostly good. Bed mildy comfortable. Strange room style with sliding windows bedroom to bathroom. Automatic lights. Which wake you up if you get up in the night. Balcony was dusty. Definitely not a 5 star hotel, and we have travelled a lot. Good ipad idea to get room serviced, however the staff dont read what you ordered properly. Pilllow choices were not as described. Yes its a 4 star, definitely not 5.

A really lovely, new hotel with wonderful balconies, nice linens, great pool area etc. My 2 small criticisms are - I couldn’t find any water stations around hotel - no coffee machine in room - in 2024 I see a coffee machine as a basic hotel amenity particularly when no onsite coffee venue. Would stay again but a couple of simple improvements would make it exceptional

A wonderful experience
A beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. The room was facing the ocean and the view was stunning. The bed and linen were so comfortable and adjoining property with pool and restaurants convenient. A bank of scooters close by made for lots of practical and fun trips around Townsville. Would love to return!
