Beware of a $300 hold in your card

When we arrived, we noticed that there were only two cars in the lot. This is a newer hotel but you wouldn’t know it. The gentleman at the desk informed us he would hold our card for $300 despite that being 3x the amount we paid for the room. He stated they do it because we booked through a third party site otherwise it would have been $75. The room was not filthy but it definitely wasn’t clean either for being a newer hotel. I am including pictures of bugs in the bathroom, dirty walls and the tile floor was very dirty. I dripped some water on the tile and went to clean it up with a paper towel and the towel was black with dirt. We had hoped to stay here again next week on our way back through town due to its pet friendly status but will definitely not be staying here again.

Very clean rooms and common areas. Staff was very friendly. Only complain would be the toilet in our room would not always flush. I would have to remove the tank lid and jiggle the float to start the tank filling.

Not ADA friendly

In a wheelchair in an accessible room. To start a person in a wheelchair cannot open the room door on their own due to the weight of the door & no assistance built in. Roll in shower is not properly sloped causing water to pool outside of shower and restroom. This is a major slip hazard for a solo ADA guest. Took almost 45min to get housekeeping to clean up water.

Unreasonable incidental deposit

This hotel charged me a $300 incidental deposit which was more than double what I paid for the room. Since I used a debit card, it won’t be refunded for 8-10 business days. The sign with this information was on a bank counter with office supplies covering most of it. The front desk said it’s because I booked with hotels.com. I will never stay here again.
