Everyone in this city was so polite and it was very quiet and relaxing. We came in town for the Alabama football game. ROLL TIDE We would definitely stay here again. Hotel was very clean, very nice and very welcoming. Love this hotel!! Well worth the price

The staff checking us in was super nice. The lobby and exterior of the property was impressive - I couldn't tell it was 26 yrs old. We checked in, took our key and left for several hours. Came back very late at night, got off the elevator and my heart sank. Then we got in our room and my gut feelings were confirmed. The room was dated and a pervading smell of some air freshener was trying to cover a dank smell. The room was dated, which is fine, but it felt dirty. There was a nasty upholstered stuffy chair in there that had stains and cigarette burns. Some of the lights didn't work and/or took forever to come on. Breakfast was lackluster and that's being generous. We did not partake. For a place to lay our heads it worked, but it was disappointing. Especially since my husband booked on the $89 a night price (didn't tell me what the rate was) and when we left he realized we'd been charged $147. For that much money I think we could have stayed somewhere much nicer.

A great stop on the road for games at University of Alabama. Within 20 minutes to Tuscaloosa and easy to and from. Complimentary water and a couple of choices, at check-in and a nice size L shaped room with fridge & coffee. Friendly staff, clean and comfy bed!
