My home away from home in DC
Some rooms are better than others. This room was better than the last time I stayed. More places to plug in electronics than the last visit. The staff is always very nice and accommodating.

The hotel is in a quiet residential area, a few blocks from the US Capitol. It attracts a lot of groups but except at breakfast, feels quiet calm. it has a nice sitting area off the lobby with coffee and tea 24 hours and free breakfasts. the only improvement I could suggest is that the people who work in the breakfast room seem unmotivated to clear tables or replenish the breakfast items--even when asked. All in all, a good value in a great area!

Property location was great, room was clean and good sized, however it definitely could use a refresh, as our room appeared to be quite old. Breakfast area was so crowded, it wasn’t pleasant to try to get to the various food items. Breakfast offerings were average so we went elsewhere. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful.

Not the usual good stay…
I have stayed here repeatedly since 2022. In the last year or so I have noticed a steady decline in the rooms. The staff is always pleasant, but the rooms are always odd. This time there was no towel rod in the bathroom. The mount was there, but no bar. The bath towels have gotten to the point of minuscule and most of the rooms from the beginning have not had places to charge electronics easily. My daughter lives right down the street so it is incredibly convenient, but for the money spent it is not the same place I used to stay.
