No hot water
The hotel was packed and I rarely had hot water. My room, by contrast, was way too warm even with the heat turned off. I requested another room but they were sold out. The manager and Expedia both pointed fingers at each other about who should compensate for the issue. That sucked.

The Eaton Hotel in DC is a fantastic choice for a stay in the city. Its stylish, modern design is paired with a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both luxurious and approachable. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with comfort and sustainability in mind, and the hotel’s commitment to art and culture is evident throughout. I had a negative interaction with one of the staff members but the rest were attentive, and took exceptional care of me after seeing what happened.

Funky hotel amenities.
Rosa at the front desk reception was very warm and welcoming. The room was clean and had funky amenities — a salt lamp and turn table complete with a variety of albums including Donna Summers, which I loved. The heavy glass shower door was not squarely plumbed and didn’t close properly. The seal on the bottom of the shower door was broken by previous guests trying to force it shut. It really needs to be repaired. The refrigerator was barely cool and appeared to be in need of repair also. The hotel restaurant “Michele’s” is mediocre at best.i do not recommend it.
