Beautiful room, very comfortable bed. Gorgeous decor in the room and around hotel. Very friendly staff, easy check in and out. The Ivy resturant is right next door which is excellent. Right outside the castle. Lovely clean boutique hotel in a great location on the high street. Tesco express and waitrose a few yards away and plenty of shops, bars and resturants. Taxi service right outside. 5 stars from us!

Unfortunately 1 night only stay did not go as planned. Booking made for luxury room with castle view for 2 adults and 2 children, due to overbooking we got double room with courtyard view. Not acceptable as it was 4 of us. After complaint made, room was changed for bigger one to accommodate 1 single bed. Although we had been promised refund, no one came back to us with any answer. Despite number of messages sent. This is not something you want to deal with if you are staying for 1 night only. I am really disappointed with customer service level.

Great location
A quirky hotel. It’s not a modern chain so you get exactly what you’d expect. A little run down and shabby, but clean room/bathroom and comfy bed. It’s right opposite Windsor Castle so you couldn’t ask for a better location. Conveniently located for restaurants, cafes and pubs, although there are no catering facilities in the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. Room was ready on arrival we stayed for 4 nights room was not serviced for the duration of our stay. Facilities were good although the shower was very feeble and water was deathly hot(burnt my foot on one occasion before I was aware).TV, Kettle, safe, coffe,tea, towels and toiletries in room so well stocked however when I asked for more coffee and loo roll these were not supplied, I had to go and get them. Overall a good stay and great value for money.

Truly one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Sadly, having booked Castle View Luxury Rooms that are shown in the picture gallery on this site - reality was shoved to back rooms of very poor quality and filthy condition, changed room 3 times and frankly all appalling. Noise and smells from restaurant nearby and the absolute pleasure of no hot water at 0720 for shower - all in all would avoid at all costs - location however is perfect for visiting the castle etc and really near the rail station - truly disappointing !
