Noise reduction is absolutely needed
It was clean and newly remodeled. I will say that the sound proofing was horrible. The hotel was less than 100 yards from a major highway and all you could hear were the trucks passing by. People in the hallway were easily heard as well. Doors shutting all night was a pain to liaten to. Had to turn the tv up over the halfway mark jist to try and drown out the other noise, which im sure added to someone elses bad experience. Wont stay there again due to the noise issue, but if you can get past that then go for it. The breakfast was great and staff were very proffessional. The noise killed the deal for me though.

We stayed here one night as a midway stop to our destination. The hotel itself is beautiful. Very clean. However.. what we didn’t know is that a busy highway is behind the hotel with no sound barriers. Unfortunately, we were on the back side and didn’t get much sleep. It was extremely noisy. If we knew this, we would have opted to stay elsewhere. After a nice 2 hours of sleep, we came down to breakfast. Which, due to the poor attitude of the older lady working the breakfast area, we ended up leaving without getting anything to eat. The pancake machine was on but had an error on it. My wife said, excuse me ma’am, as she was going to ask if it would be down the entire time, she was ignored. She said it again, ignored again. Finally she said excuse me ma’am for a third time and the lady looked at her and said “yeah??”. She said I wasn’t sure if you knew that the pancake maker isn’t working.. the worker said “that sucks. Hopefully someone fixes it” and walked away. That’s when we went to the room, got our things and checked out. The young girl working at the front desk at checkout asked if our stay was okay. We told her the issues, explained about her coworker- she asked who spoke to us like that. We told her. The look on her face, you could tell that the woman we were speaking about has had issues like this before. She apologized profusely and said she would make adjustments on our bill for the issues, but… that never happened…

Upon arrival was greeted kindly and respectfully. Bob the desk person was attentive and able to make some changes in our accommodations of two rooms and four people. Online registration and reservations with Expedia were without any hitches.

The road noise from I 77 was ridiculous, and it was constant the whole night long. The walls and windows are not sufficient to lower the noise. Also the hinge on the bathroom door creaked like an old iron gate.
